Another Vintage Guitar, Gibson Acoustic J-35 Circ. 1941

Our highlighted Vintage Guitar sale of the week is another classic Gibson vintage guitar.  This time it is a six string oldie dating back to 1941.  This model also known as Jumbo 35/J-35.  The owner stated the guitar was in nice condition.  A new Brazillian rosewood bridge was built to period specs to replace a non -orginal bridge, several repairs have been made over the years, one being repair of hole is the side for electronics whaich had been removed.  The Guitar sold on eBay October 20, 2008 for  $8,000.00
